Delivery information

Who delivers it and how much does it cost?

We use a national courier service (usually FedEx) and Royal Mail (for more on this, see below). The following prices cover delivery to mainland UK and cover delivery to one address.

NB: For deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands & Islands and all UK islands, please call us on 01603 880685 or sales@fieldingcottage.co.uk so that we can provide you with a delivery price.

When will it arrive?

We use a courier for ‘next-day delivery’ of our fresh produce, and Royal Mail for other orders.

We can send cheese to arrive between Tuesday and Friday, but unfortunately not on a Saturday as it is just too expensive.

If you need your order to arrive by a particular date, please email us at sales@fieldingcottage.co.uk, and we will do our best to ensure this happens although we may need to pass on an additional charge for this. Please note that we need more than 24 hours notice to deliver.

Picking up from Fielding Cottage

Orders can be picked up, by arrangement, from our site at Honingham (NR9 5DJ). As you proceed through the checkout, simply select Collect from the farm and that will stop you being charged for delivery. We’ll be in touch to arrange a convenient date and time for you to collect your order. Please see map and directions here.

How is it packaged?

Our skin care products are bubble wrapped and then sealed in mailing bags. Cheese, meat and milk are packed in a cardboard box with eco-friendly shredded paper.

Most of the time we add an ice pack to help keep fresh produce nice and cool. However, in cooler months this is not always necessary.

What do we need from you?

In order to ensure that your products reach you in top condition, we need you to provide an accurate delivery address. If an incorrect postal address is supplied we won’t be responsible for any delivery problems which may follow. Ideally there should be someone in, however we appreciate that this is not always possible, so please ALWAYS provide clear, brief instructions for an alternative arrangement – i.e. ‘please leave with neighbour’/’in the wood shed’ etc. Again, without these instructions, we cannot accept responsibility for any delivery problems.
